INTERNATIONAL SPORTS LAW TEAM

 

The AVRIO Sports Law Team

consists of lawyers from member firms who deal with Sports Law as their main practice. Within this Working Group a constant, pro-active exchange of information on recent national and international developments is taking place.

 

A specific focus is given to the judicial position of each Athlete with a view to:

  • International Sports Associations,

  • National Sports Clubs / Associations,

  • Athletes of Sports Clubs :                       

    • their Managers

    • their Sponsors and the Media.

  • Counselling of athletes during disciplinary action initiated by their club

  • Consultation during legal difficulties concerning employment matters

  • Contractual consultation for athletes when applying the profession to another legal system / countries

  • Representation of athletes during judicial enquiries in connection with drugs

  • Consultation during club transfer of players / athletes at home and abroad

  • Contractual advice with Sponsor and/or Advertising Agreements

  • Consultation for athletes with image problems in the media
